Looking to Spice Up Your Wardrobe With a New Pair a Pants?

No matter who you are; if your going into your freshman year of highschool or college or you just want a new wardrobe, you should know the great selection of pants out there. Aren't you tired of wearing those skinny jeans? And seeing everyone around you wearing those jeans? Or maybe your even tired of seeing the ol' flare jeans? I bet you want to spice up your look, get a little funky. If so your not alone and you should start looking at those different styles of pants that you could get. Believe it or not but just simply changing up your pant style can change a whole lot, just give it a try.

Peg Leg Pants are basically known to be cropped right above the ankle. You'll see them pretty high on the waist and pleated. Lucky everyone can pretty much pull off this pants style but, people that have a short waist, or a triangle shape will have a little harder time doing so. If your one of those folks who have a short waist then you want to try to find a pair of peg trousers that doesn't have a high waist and doesn't have the "ballon" effect. The reason for this is that it will most likely make your hips disappear in the pants. If you happen to have a triangle shape then you actually want to make sure that you find a pair of these pant styles that does have the "ballon" effect. So that it can seem that you have an hourglass figure, basically an illusion.

This pant style looks great with a cute pair of oxfords, or some smoking pair of heels. You can get away with just wearing a casual shirt or even a really cute blouse with a blazer to top it off. This pant style comes with a lot of versatility. Just remember that heels are your bestfriend and they look gorgeous with peg pants. Also when looking for your pair of peg pants you should make sure it's slightly above the ankle, that is has the perfect pleat, that the volume on the top looks good for your shape, and that the cuff looks just right. Ahh, Chino Pants. Some people call these khakis, but I find them totally different. You'll usually find these in tan, but no worries they come in many other colors as well. They actually came into trend during the 1800's for the military. But lately they have came into the fashion world and they're popping up everywhere. They are very stylish and comfortable. You can get these in many different styles; just straight dress chinos, the boot cut chino, ones with cuffs, ones without cuffs. It seems as if the choices are endless.

Now I bet your wondering "Well, enough about the history and the design. What can I wear with this pant style?" No worries my readers, Fashionista in training is on the way! Little too corny? Anywho, if your wearing this pant style formally then it would be best to pair it with a white blouse to look very professional. The usual wear is rolling them up, so you could always go in that direction. This pant style happens to be pretty versatile as well, you can throw a cute tank top on with a nice short cardigan that has long sleeves. Or you could, be a little different and put on a girls bestfriend. I'm sure you know what that is by now. No? HEELS BABY!

So girls, don't be afraid to be different. You can mix and match and do much more with this pant style. You don't have to wear this pant style to be formal anymore, you can wear these anywear and look very stylish!

Ca-Ca-Ca-Cargo! First there are two types of cargo pants. The skinny cargo pants, which happen to be one of my favorites and then we have the baggy kind. But in my opinion I find the skinny cargo pants one of the hottest trends. The great thing about cargo pants is they can easily fit into your wardrobe! Another fabulous thing about cargo pants is it can flatter any body shape and size. You just have to find the right pair for you.

My personal favorite the skinny cargo pants go with pretty much anything. I really love to wear them with baggy shirts and chunky shoes. But you can wear tight tops, flats, sweaters, jackets, etc.

Now baggy cargo pants I usually like to wear tight tops because, wearing a baggy shirt with baggy cargo pants always seem to make me feel like sort of a slob but that just me. I feel that baggy cargo pants are the type of pants you relax in. So I usually throw on a pair of chuck taylors or a pair of combat/military boots when wearing this pant style. So that I can still feel stylish.

This is a great pant style and it's very hot right now, so you should pick you up a pair soon!

Oh Shoot! Capris, best for when it warm!

Capris are cut at mid-calf and as I said before best worn when it's warm outside. Some are also cut below the knee and sometimes even cut below the calf. This pant style usually flatters every body shape and size as well. But again you need to find the pair that fits your body size which is pretty easy.

When looking for the best pair for you, you should look for the pair that hits the slimmest part of your calf. Don't look for capris that are pleated because they don't look that great. Every women loves to have their legs looking looooong, so try to look for capris that are not cuffed.I know I love when my legs look nice and long. These tips will give you the most flattering look possible but remember that not every pair of capris will look fab on you so browse around for that perfect pair.

Now what should you wear with capris? What shoes? What type of shirt? Oh my, these are the questions that haunt me. Haha just kidding. Hmm, how about the shoes. Flip flops look great with capris, as do flats and wedge sandals. Another bizzare things that I found looks incredible with capris are tall stylish boots! Now, when picking your bestfriend you have to be careful. Capris look great with kitten heels, pointed-toe pumps, and peep toes. When picking the pointed-toe pumps or peep toes you have to get the right size heel. Don't get crazy now, go around a medium high heel. Don't get anything too high or clunky it will be too distracting. If you get the right heel you'll look very classy and stylish. Avoid shoes such as; clogs, oxfords, ankle boots, and shoes that have very heavy prints. Oh the shirts, any plain tunic or tank top looks great. Topping with a cute cardigan won't hurt eithier.

Have fun when looking for your perfect pair of capris. One other tip, you can dress up capris and wear them to the office, if you do it right. When dressing it up, you should pick a good fabric such as; silk or stretch cotton. If you follow these tips you should do great when browsing for capris.

Can you believe it? Hammer time pants are back? Oh my, and are they cute!

Harem pants which are also known as parachute pants. They are baggy longish pants that are tapered at the ankle. They are very fashionable and I happen to own quite a few. These pants may not be everyone's cup-of-tea, but I've grown to love the look. They are extremely comfortable and I look mega cute in them.

Now they're are several different looks of this pant style. But when picking them you should first pick the right fabric; such as silk or cotton jersey. You should avoid the drop-crotches, it's not a good look at all. You want to find a pair that are cropped a couple inches before your ankles.

Ahhh, so many choices to choose when picking what to wear with the pants. Well first you want to draw attention to your waist so you should try to wear a nice fitted shirt and it looks best when it's tucked in. Also a cropped jacket is like the icing on the cake. I absolutely always wear my harem pants with heels. If you don't have super great legs then you should go in that direction. But if your one of those lucky gals with those beautiful longs legs then you could pull off wearing sandals or cute flats. Don't try to add too many accessories because it'll throw off the whole outfit and you'll look silly, so if anything try to keep it simple.

So your never really that limited, and then you have so many choices for the fabric such as; cotton, knit, linen, rayon, silk, spandex, wool and more. In actual truth the choices are really endless!
